Since earning her Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, Jodi Ziselman has dedicated twenty-five years to the caring support of cancer patients and their families.
Licensed in the States of New York and Pennsylvania, she is the recipient of the Paul R. Carey Award for Excellence in Cancer Care. Ms. Ziselman has received public recognition for her work regarding patient advocacy and her continuing effort to improve the quality of life in patient care. Ms. Ziselman has earned certification from The Board of Oncology Social Work. As a Certified Oncology Social Worker, she has demonstrated a high level of oncology specific work through training, experience as well as demonstration of specialized skill sets in the areas of oncology, palliative and end of life care.
Ms. Ziselman has acted as a liaison between patient and doctor, taking responsibility for coordinating care for medical and psychosocial needs; from the initial diagnosis through rigorous treatment protocols.
Her experience and empathy have helped countless patients and their families. Ms. Ziselman has the skills, expertise, and compassion needed to help make sense of difficult times. Her belief that each person is truly unique, helps her design tailored therapeutic plans.
